Programs and Activities Provided by Camp Meridian

Our Programs

The campers must complete tasks and solve challenges to successfully solve a mission. The activities are designed for all levels of ability and special needs, and include:

  • learn compass skills and solve clues while hiking to a local waterfall
  • help each other on the most amazing indoor climbing wall– built as a huge flagstone fireplace and chimney!
  • a low ropes challenge course with surprising twists

Also included: guided sensory night hikes, nature awareness trails, craft centers, free time on playing fields and basketball courts, an outdoor amphitheater, a magnificent Council Circle for bonfires and ceremonies, and much more!

AGES AND ELIGIBILITY:

  • For boys & girls age 8-12 years by the start of camp
  • Must carry the diagnosis of congenital heart disease
  • Free of charge for all participants
  • Campers will be chosen on a first-come basis for age and sex
